About Us
Access Testing exists to keep workers safe at height. We do so through our best-in-class services to test, inspect, certify, repair, maintain and supply the full range of fall protection equipment.
We were founded in 1996 to be the standard bearer for quality and reliability in working at height. Safety is the foundation upon which our business is built; everything we do is for the protection of at-height workers through the provision of the very best equipment and services.
A quarter of a century of success in working for over 2,000 customers nationwide speaks for itself. We never compromise on safety, which means we will never compromise on quality.
All our work is completed in accordance with the appropriate standards and specifications (e.g. BS EN 795, BS 7883, BS6037 Parts 1 and 2, LOLER 1998 and the EU Work at Height Directive).
Part of PTSG – the UK’s leading specialist services provider
Access Testing operates as an independent company. However, we have the enormous advantage of being part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG). PTSG is the UK’s leading provider of specialist services to the construction and FM sectors. It operates five business divisions:
At all times our principal concern is the on-going safety of all personnel working height. Safety systems require inspection and re-certification on a regular basis. During testing, all components are visually inspected for signs of damage or corrosion as well as being subject to a proof-load test to ensure they can sustain the required designated load.
What makes us the go-to choice for a complete solution is that we also provide, where required, at-height training for managers and site operatives using their own onsite equipment. Our modular approach means that we can tailor our courses to our clients’ specific needs. This ensures that duty holders are confident that their operatives are fully competent to use such equipment.
