PTSG is a multinational, multidisciplinary building compliance business specialising in access and safety, electrical services, façade maintenance and cleaning, fire and security solutions and water treatment.
Formed in 2007 to deliver the ‘more challenging’ niche specialist services in the FM, construction and end-user marketplaces, PTSG is now the leading provider of specialist services for the built environment in the UK and mainland Europe – dedicated to ensuring that the essential systems and equipment within and on the outside of buildings are installed, inspected, tested and maintained to the highest possible standards.
The Group employs over 3,000 specialists, over 2,000 engineers, collaborates with over 30,000 customers (including a large number of household names), caring for over 300,000 buildings and millions of assets.
Headquartered in Castleford, West Yorkshire, PTSG’s specialists operate from a comprehensive network of service centres throughout the UK and the Netherlands. It is unique in its capability to respond to any job, anywhere at a moment’s notice, meeting the complete specialist services requirements of its customers.
In February 2024, PTSG acquired Flame Control, a large fire solutions firm that operates across the Netherlands. The team of 40 specialists work seven days a week to improve fire safety in business and residential properties, delivering fire alarm systems, first aid, evacuation, extinguishing systems and extinguishing agents.
This acquisition represents a significant milestone for PTSG and a major step forward in its expansion efforts. It underscores the Group’s commitment to creating an even stronger platform for growth, offering its specialist in a wider geographic context.

- PTSG Access & Safety Ltd – façade access and fall arrest systems and equipment
- PTSG Electrical Services Ltd – electrical compliance, lightning and surge protection and power earthing solutions
- PTSG Building Maintenance Specialists Ltd – cleaning and maintenance at all levels
- PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd – fire detection and alarm systems, fire suppression, passive fire services and security
- PTSG Water Treatment Ltd – water hygiene and plumbing, mains water services, water treatment and environmental services
This distinction of meeting the entire specialist service requirements of organisations has positioned the Group as offering something extra compared to its single-service competitors. Although many contracts start with a single specialist service or product, PTSG can often identify additional services that are either crucial for the safe operation of a building or could provide additional benefits. Moreover, these additional services come at a substantially lower cost than hiring multiple companies for each specialised service.
