UK Dry Risers Ltd is the UK’s largest independent national provider of specialist installation and maintenance services for wet and dry risers.
We work nationally on all kinds of projects, from a small care home in Dundee to a 50-storey apartment block in Central London.
We operate two independent companies – UK Dry Risers Installation Ltd and UK Dry Risers Maintenance Ltd. Both are based in Bury and can combine expertise and manpower to work collaboratively, when required.
UK Dry Risers Maintenance Ltd delivers dedicated, planned dry and wet riser maintenance services. We offer standard and bespoke service packages, which can be arranged through our head office
At UK Dry Risers Installation Ltd, we have engineers working nationwide every day, allowing us to cost all projects at the same competitive rate regardless of location. We source all components from leading manufacturers worldwide to ensure that all our installations are fitted with the highest-grade components on the market.
We also offer a highly respected design service through our in-house design and technical team.

We have established a reputation for delivering a cost-effective, time-efficient and professional service, ensuring that dry and wet riser systems remain safe and compliant at all times.
Dry risers are vertical water mains fitted into staircase enclosures or similar, with outlet valves on each floor to enable the fire brigade to connect to the water supply at ground level. The current standard for the installation of dry riser systems is BS9990 2015. We source all components from the leading manufacturers worldwide to ensure that all installations are fitted with the highest-grade components available.
Our customers have the option to purchase a five-year warranty covering all parts and components, providing longer-term protection and peace of mind.

Services
Dry Risers
Dry risers are vertical mains fitted into staircase enclosures or other suitable positions, with outlet valves on each floor and inlets fitted at ground level to allow the fire brigade to connect to the water supply.
We have engineers working nationwide every day, allowing us to cost all projects at the same competitive rate regardless of location.
Wet Risers
Wet risers are installed into new buildings above 50 metres, or in cases where it is difficult to provide a suitable breeching inlet position to a dry riser.
Bespoke Systems
We have the design capability and experience to carry out the installation of bespoke dry riser systems. We have installed numerous horizontal dry main systems to facilitate this and we have the equipment and skills to run such systems in either MDPE (fusion welding) or standard galvanised steel.
Dry and Wet Riser Maintenance
Our maintenance company has service agreements in place covering numerous prestigious sites across the country including the Olympic Stadium and Buckingham Palace, along with a large number of NHS and Government buildings.
We work for both end users and sub-contractors for other fire protection and facilities management companies alike. Our reputation for a cost-effective, concise and professional service is reflected in the growth of our service base month after month.
